Parent Organizations

Founded in 2025, The Arts in Mount Pleasant Booster Club champions and enriches the creative spirit of our K-12 students by supporting all aspects of the arts—including theater, band, chorus, and fine arts. We are dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive arts community through advocacy, volunteerism, and fundraising. Our commitment is to provide resources, encouragement, and opportunities that empower students to excel artistically and personally, and to cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the arts within our school and local community.

We are volunteers who work together to raise money, which is then distributed to the educators of the District for educational programs and/or educational capital items.  One-hundred percent of the net proceeds benefit the students of our District as their learning experience is enhanced by the programs and items financed by the grants.  The Foundation has awarded over $600,000 in grants to the District since its inception in 1997.

The Westlake Athletic Booster Club (WAC) was founded in 2004 to act as liaison between the community and Westlake's athletic department. Our primary objective is to provide supplemental financial support to the schools' athletic programs beyond what is available from the district's budget. We also sponsor programs that provide additional training and conditioning to our athletes during a sport's off-season.
