If it’s the week before Holiday Recess, there is a good chance you can find Dr. G in Lauren Morris’ Photo 1 class!

Before the break, Dr. Gstopped by to catch the class in action. “Students practiced some techniques they have been discussing and working on including side light, single, front/Rembrandt, double front, top light and, back/front light,” Mrs. Morris explained.

As in previous years, the shoot was directed and facilitated by their teacher, but designed by the students. “The class came up with a couple themes and selected the backdrops and lighting they wanted. They also brought in the props. Some of the key components of the shoot included making constant adjustments to their cameras, point of view, and posing the models.”

Although in the past we have shared the outtakes, this year’s final products, expertly edited by these talented students, are too beautiful not to post. Enjoy!
