Absentee Ballot Information

Anyone that is registered to vote and will not be in Westchester County on the date of the bond referendum may be eligible to apply for an absentee ballot. To receive an absentee ballot, an application must first be completed. The application can be requested in person at 825 Westlake Drive or in writing from the District Clerk, Mary Beth Mancuso ( or downloaded here:   Absentee Ballot Application.pdf


Important Information Regarding Absentee Ballots:

If the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, the completed application must be received by the District Clerk no later than seven days before the vote (March 24, 2020) and the ballot will be mailed to the voter no later than six days before the vote. If the voter, or his/her designated agent, is picking up the ballot in person, the application must be submitted no later than the day before the vote (March 30, 2020).

The District Clerk must receive the completed absentee ballot by 5:00 pm on March 31, 2020.

Dear Parents, Guardians and Members of the Community,

This letter is to inform you that during the November 13th, 2019 Board of Education work session, the board directed the Mount Pleasant Central School District administration to start the process to present a referendum for the improvement of the Westlake Athletic facilities. 

At this time, the Board of Education and district administration are working together to develop a responsible proposition.  More information will be shared at upcoming board meetings regarding the scope of the work and the potential cost estimates. The dates for the upcoming board meetings are November 20th, 2019 and December 11, 2019.  Monthly board meetings are held in the Westlake High School/Middle School Library at 8:00pm and are open to the public. There is also a Board of Education work session scheduled for December 4, 2019 to be held in the district office conference room at 7:30 pm which is also a public meeting. We welcome community input and invite you to join the discussion. 

We anticipate a vote will be put forth in Spring 2020.  If you have any questions or concerns in advance of the board meetings, please feel free to contact me.
